The wiki syntax/markup provides you with some shortcuts when you are creating content for your wikis. You can create links to new wiki pages or existing wiki pages and quoted text directly into the text editor.
Creating a link to a new wiki page
When the wiki engine finds double-bracketed text in the body of a post, it converts the text into a link. For example, This is a Test in double brackets, as shown below,
renders as 'This is a TEST' and becomes an active link when you save and close the editor.
When you click the link, Telligent Community opens the add a page editor so you can create the new page.
Creating a link to an existing wiki page
The syntax for creating a link to an existing page is similar to that used for creating a link to a new page except the double-bracketed syntax would look like this: [<page name>|<link text>]. For example, if you want to create a link to an existing page called Platform Collaboration platform, you would use the following statement:
Telligent Community renders this as a link to "Telligent Collaboration" wiki page.
Creating a link to a URL
You can create a link to a URL in a wiki page by typing the URL without brackets, for example, http://telligent.com.

Telligent Community renders it this way:
